TERMS & CONDITIONS 

The Kaleidoscope Effect 
 

1. Introduction 

These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by The Kaleidoscope Effect. By booking or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services 

We provide coaching, wellbeing, educational, and personal or professional development services as described on our website or agreed in writing.

3. Client Responsibilities 

You acknowledge that: 

  • Participation is voluntary 

  • Our services are not therapy, counselling, medical, or mental health treatment 

  • You remain responsible for your own decisions, actions, and outcomes 

 

4. Fees & Payment 

  • Fees will be communicated in advance 

  • Payment is required prior to service delivery unless agreed otherwise 

  • Non payment may result in suspension or termination of services 

 

5. Cancellations & Refunds 

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a session 

  • Late cancellations may be charged in full 

  • No refunds for completed sessions 

 

6. Confidentiality 

All information shared is confidential unless disclosure is required by law or to prevent serious harm. 

 

7. Intellectual Property 

All materials, tools, and resources remain the intellectual property of The Kaleidoscope Effect and may not be copied or shared without written consent. 

 

8. Limitation of Liability 

To the fullest extent permitted by law in Scotland: 

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss 

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service 

 

9. Data Protection 

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation. 

 

10. Termination 

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing. Any outstanding fees remain payable. 

 

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland. 
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
